Merry Fren: Bitcoin to the People
Robin Hood had his Merry Men. Robinhood Chain has Merry Fren.
The original story was simple. Take surplus. Return it as gold to the people.
Merry Fren carries that idea onto a new rail. $FREN is a fixed-supply token on Robinhood Chain.
Trading activity in $FREN generates fees. Those fees are captured in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is distributed to eligible holders.
This paper states the thesis, the chain, the token, and the mechanism. It is a project paper, not a specification of Bitcoin.

1. Introduction
The Merry Men were the company around Robin Hood. They moved value back to ordinary people.
Gold was the unit. The method was the band.
Robinhood is one of the world’s largest retail brokers. In 2026 it launched Robinhood Chain.
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum layer-2. It was built to settle tokenized stocks, commodities, and on-chain markets.
Memecoins arrived on the same chain. Many of them pair with tokenized stocks and gold. Holders can receive those assets through pairing, fees, or distributions.
Merry Fren applies the same pattern to Bitcoin.
The community is the band. $FREN is the token. Bitcoin is the unit returned to holders.

2. The chain
Robinhood Chain lets real-world assets live next to open token markets.
Tokenized equities and commodities trade on the same network as memecoins. Launchpads let anyone create a fixed-supply token into a pool.
That mix created a new trade. A memecoin can sit across from tokenized Nvidia, Apple, gold, or another listed name.
Activity in the meme moves the paired asset. Some designs pay that asset back to holders.
The chain’s live story is: hold a community token, receive a real asset.
Merry Fren does not wrap a stock. It uses the chain’s activity loop and settles the payout in Bitcoin.
3. The token
Name: $FREN. Token of the Merry Men on Robinhood Chain.
Network: Robinhood Chain.
Launchpad: Pons.
Buy: official Pons launch page.
Supply: fixed. 1,000,000,000. No additional issuance.
A fixed cap matters. Rewards cannot be printed as extra $FREN. If the design works, activity buys Bitcoin. Holders receive Bitcoin, not a larger float.
A deflationary buy-and-burn is planned. More token utility is planned. Neither is live until announced on merryfren.com and @MerryFren.
Always verify the official token address before trading. Copy-cat tickers exist on the same chain.
4. The mechanism
Three steps.
- Trade. People buy and sell $FREN. Trading creates fees.
- Capture. Those fees are captured in Bitcoin.
- Share. Bitcoin is distributed to eligible holders under the applicable rules.
Volume is the input. Bitcoin is the output.
Eligibility and timing follow the live distribution mechanism. This paper does not guarantee a rate, a schedule, or a profit.
No staking. No signup. Just hold $FREN.
4.1 Why Bitcoin
Satoshi defined Bitcoin as peer-to-peer electronic cash without a trusted mint. Merry Fren does not replace that system.
It uses Bitcoin as the asset returned to holders. That is the modern equivalent of gold in the older story.
5. Incentives
Traders create the fee flow. Holders receive the converted Bitcoin if they are eligible.
The community works if the story and the mechanism stay aligned. Activity in $FREN should produce Bitcoin for the people who hold it.
That is the Merry Men function on this chain. Not a sheriff. A band that moves surplus toward holders.
6. NFT collection
A small Merry Fren NFT collection is coming for the early frens.
Characters, supply, and utility will be announced.
Updates: x.com/MerryFren.
7. How to participate
- Read the site: merryfren.com.
- Confirm the official token on the Pons launch page.
- Use a wallet that supports Robinhood Chain.
- Follow announcements only from @MerryFren.
8. Conclusion
Robinhood Chain put stocks, gold, and memecoins on one rail.
Merry Fren takes the Merry Men idea and points the payout at Bitcoin.
Fixed supply. Fees to Bitcoin. Bitcoin to eligible holders.
Robin Hood gave gold to the people. Merry Fren gives Bitcoin to the people.
